Light loses connectivity after power lost/restore
Jim Diaz
This is an odd behavior I have been noticing. I finally managed to figure out the cause and steps to reproduce:
1: Set up a room with lights, I used A19 bulbs for this. Everything seems to work fine at this stage.
2: Turn off the power to the A19 bulb via a light switch.
3: turn the power back on via the light switch.
4: Now that you have done so, wait a moment and open the Wiz app.
5: The bulb you cut the power to will show up as not connected. If you keep watching, it will eventually show as connected. If you keep watching, it will eventually show as disconnected again.
- You can reset the light by swapping the bulb with a bulb in another room and moving the bulbs in the app to the other room, at which point the issue stops. I'm not sure if this works because of the period where they are without power forcing some kind of reset, or if moving it to a new room helps it work right again. This will cause the light to resume normal behavior, though scenes will have to be set up again.
- You can also reset the light by deleting and re-adding it. This will also fix the issue described above and the light will resume normal behavior, though scenes will need to be set up again.

Hi Jim and thanks for reporting this. Can't emphasize enough how helpful it is to get the "reproduction steps", as we call them.
Let me have a chat with the team to check if we can observe this problem on our side too. If we can't we may get back to you for more specific information (either the ID of the lights, or some network info...).
Thanks again, and of course, Happy New Year! :D

Antonin Carre: Happy New Year!
Thanks, here is hoping we can get to the bottom of, this. To give a little more detail, I've had my room set up and had everything working flawlessly for weeks at a time, only to start getting the odd behavior there the light keeps connecting and disconnecting. It was only recently that I realized that turning the light off at the switch seemed to trigger the error. I had tested it a few times using the above steps and kept finding the same results; however, I only tested using my A19 bulbs since I've never experienced this issue with any other device.
