The old app had a clear place where saved colors were, and the individual names of colors were shown. I can’t clearly find that info on this app.

Hi Zeke and Will :)  No worries, custom colors aren't going away anytime soon! We had to leave them out of that first beta release because of time constraints, but they should be back very soon in an upcoming release!
Regarding the naming, we may make some adjustments. The V1 list of names is quite playful, but it's not always super clear, especially since multiple colors in the same vicinity can actually be named the same... so we're planning to introduce a color coding, so you know exactly what color that is and can import/export more easily. 
For example something like "Orange #FF700A".
